Curtis Rowe was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania. He received Christ as an eleven year old listening to Billy Graham. Following High School graduation he enlisted in the U.S Navy in 1968.
He served a tour of duty in Vietnam and then aboard the Destroyer, USS John King. He responded to God’s call to Christian ministry and enrolled in Baptist Bible College in 1973 and graduated with a BA in Pastoral Theology.
Following his ordination in 1978 he candidated for the Pastorate of the Heritage Baptist Church in Springfield MA and has been privileged to serve there since 1981, giving him one of the longest tenures of any Pastor in the Springfield area.
He was privileged to marry Cathy Sturlis in 1971. They have three grown children and five amazing grandchildren!.
Curt has also served as a Trustee at Boston Baptist College and is currently the State Chairman of the Massachusetts Baptist Bible Fellowship of Pastors.
He has done a radio minute on WHYN 560 AM at 12:18 on Fridays for over 20 years.
The Church building was expanded in 1987 and the worship center renovated in 2013.
